Kasi Kitchen took orders straight from WhatsApp
A township restaurant replaced phone-call chaos with an in-chat menu and order line, and cut order errors to near zero.
The challenge
Kasi Kitchen took every order by phone call during the lunch rush. Lines were busy, orders were misheard, and the team had no record of what was sold. They wanted to take orders in WhatsApp without asking regulars to download anything.
The approach
They described their menu and order flow to paige, which built a WhatsApp app with a tappable menu, daily specials, and a structured order line. Customers message the business number, browse the menu inside the chat, and get a pickup time, all without leaving WhatsApp.
The result
Within a month, three quarters of lunch orders moved to the chat. Order errors dropped to near zero and the kitchen now has a clean record of every order.
“My phone used to ring off the hook. Now people just tap the menu and order. The kitchen knows exactly what to make.”
